Welcome to the Flash/ActionScript page. I just started playing with ActionScript in January 2008. I am discovering that many of my programming techniques can be readily ported into ActionScript. This makes the conversion from Java or Assembly Language to Flash fairly painless.

I am excited thinking about the possibilities that vector graphics and MovieClips have to offer. Rotation and scaling are very powerful tools that breathe life into ads and games. The availability of the alpha channel graphics for overlaying colors and images make complex, realistic, interactive backgrounds simple.
